Terms of Service

Last updated August 5, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Bassline Printing LLC ("Bassline Printing", "we", "us") covering www.basslineprinting.com, everything you can buy through it, and the design tools it gives you. By browsing the site, placing an order, or creating an account, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Our privacy policy covers separately what personal information we collect and what we do with it.

1. Who can use the site

You must be at least 18, or old enough to enter a binding contract where you live with a parent or guardian's permission. If you're ordering on behalf of a business, you're confirming you're authorized to bind it.

2. Accounts

You can browse and check out as a guest. An account is required for order history, messaging us, the custom-order editor, and AI generation.

Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Give us an email address you actually read; it's how we send order confirmations and answer questions. Tell us right away if you think someone else is in your account.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, charges back a legitimate order, or is being used to upload content we're not willing to print. You can close yours at any time by asking us.

3. Products, prices and availability

Prices are in U.S. dollars and don't include shipping or tax, which are shown at checkout before you pay. We can change prices, retire designs, or change what garments and sizes we offer at any time — but never for an order you've already paid for.

We try to describe and photograph everything accurately. Mockups and editor previews are representations: printed color, placement, and garment shade vary somewhat from what a screen shows, and that variation isn't a defect. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honor the mistake.

4. Orders and payment

Adding something to your cart doesn't reserve it, and your order isn't accepted until we've confirmed payment. Until then we may decline or cancel it — for example if we can't fulfill the item, can't verify the payment, or can't print the artwork.

Payment is handled by PayPal, whether you pay with a PayPal balance or a card. Your card details go to PayPal directly and never reach our servers; we only ever see that a payment succeeded, for how much. Your use of PayPal is also governed by PayPal's own terms.

If your order includes items fulfilled by more than one seller, it is split into separate orders — one per seller — each with its own shipping charge and its own confirmation.

5. Made to order, shipping and delivery

Almost everything here is printed for you after you order, so there is a production step before anything ships. Production and delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we're not responsible for carrier delays once a package has left us.

Shipping is charged per order based on how many items it contains. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier takes the package.

Getting the shipping address right is on you. We're not able to reroute a package once it's shipped, and a reshipment after an undeliverable or incorrect address is at your cost.

6. Cancellations, returns and replacements

Because items are made to order, we can't accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges — including wrong-size orders. Please check the size guide before you buy.

If your order arrives damaged, misprinted, or isn't what you ordered, email us at prints@basslineprinting.com within 30 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the problem. We'll reprint it or refund it, our choice. Normal variation in print placement, color, and garment fit isn't a defect.

We'll cancel an order for free if you ask before it goes into production. Once printing has started we can't.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used.

7. Your artwork and custom orders

You keep ownership of the artwork, photos, text, and logos you upload or make in our editor. Nothing here transfers your rights to us.

You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, resize, recolor, composite, and print your content, and to display it back to you in the editor — everything we have to do to actually make your order. That license lasts as long as we need it to fulfill and support your orders and keep the business records we're required to keep.

You promise that you own your content or have permission to use it, and that printing it doesn't infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights. We don't check that for you, and we don't give legal advice about it — if you're not sure you have the rights to a logo, character, lyric, or photo, don't upload it.

We may refuse or cancel any job whose artwork we believe breaks these terms, and we'll refund it if we've already been paid.

8. AI generation and tokens

The design editor can generate images from a text prompt. Each generation runs on a third-party model and costs us money per run, so it's metered with tokens: you get a small number free, and you can buy more. Uploading your own artwork, placing it, and every other editor tool stay free.

Tokens are a prepaid license to use the generation feature. They aren't currency, have no cash value, can't be transferred or redeemed for money, and — except where the law requires otherwise — purchases of them are final and non-refundable. If a generation fails through a fault on our side, tell us and we'll credit the tokens back.

We may change token prices and how many tokens a given model costs. Changes never re-price tokens you've already bought.

AI output is unpredictable. We don't promise a generated image will be original, usable, print-quality, or free of anyone else's intellectual property, and we don't promise the same prompt gives the same result twice. Whether you can claim ownership of an AI-generated image is unsettled law in a lot of places. You are responsible for what you choose to print, exactly as you would be for artwork you uploaded, and section 7's promises apply to it.

Prompts and any image you condition a generation on are sent to our model provider to produce the result. Don't put anything confidential in a prompt.

9. Content we won't print

Don't upload, generate, or ask us to print anything that:

  • infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or right of publicity;
  • is sexually explicit, or sexualizes anyone who is or appears to be a minor;
  • harasses, threatens, or incites violence against a person or group, or promotes hate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin;
  • impersonates a real person or organization, or is meant to defraud;
  • is unlawful, or promotes illegal activity.

You also agree not to attack, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or work around the limits of the site, or to use it to build a competing service.

We decide what we're willing to print, and we can decline a job without explaining ourselves. That decision isn't a legal judgment about your content — it's just what we will and won't put our name on.

10. Seller storefronts

Where seller storefronts are available, a seller sells their own designs through the site under these terms plus anything else we agree with them in writing. Sellers are independent — they aren't our employees or agents. A seller is responsible for having the rights to what they sell and for the accuracy of their listings.

When you buy from a seller who fulfills their own orders, your contract for that item is with them, and we're the storefront and payment path rather than the merchant. Where we print and ship the item, we're responsible for the printing and shipping.

Seller earnings, our commission, and payout timing are as shown in the seller studio at the time of sale. We may hold or offset a payout against refunds, chargebacks, or claims on that seller's orders.

11. Messages and notifications

Messaging on the site goes to us or to the seller you're buying from — nobody else. We'll email you about your orders and your account regardless of marketing preferences, because those messages are part of the service.

If you turn on browser notifications we'll use them for replies and order updates. You can turn them off in your browser at any time.

12. Our intellectual property

The site itself — its software, design editor, layout, branding, and the "Bassline Printing" name and logo — belongs to us. These terms don't give you a license to it beyond ordinary use of the site as a customer or seller.

13. Third-party services

We use other companies to run parts of this: PayPal for payments, our AI model provider for image generation and upscaling, Google for optional sign-in and web fonts, and hosting and email providers. Their handling of your data is covered by their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their services being unavailable.

14. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the site up but don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your work in the design editor will never be lost. Save your source files.

Except for what these terms explicitly say — and except for warranties that can't be excluded under the law where you live — the site and everything on it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the site — even if we were told such damages were possible.

Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is capped at what you paid for that order; for any other claim, at $100. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

16. Indemnity

You agree to cover our losses, including reasonable legal fees, from any third-party claim arising out of content you uploaded, generated, or asked us to print, or out of your breach of these terms.

17. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Michigan, and we each consent to their jurisdiction.

Before filing anything, please email us — most problems with an order are faster to fix directly.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top changes when we do, and material changes take effect for orders placed after we post them. The terms that apply to an order are the ones in force when you placed it.

19. Odds and ends

If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still stands. Our not enforcing something isn't a waiver of it. You can't assign these terms; we can, as part of a sale or reorganization of the business. These terms, plus any order confirmation and our privacy policy, are the whole agreement between us.
